I occasionally get some clients or friends really freak about about eating a meal or two 'bad' on the weekend or having a few drinks when they're on a meal plan or trying to achieve a certain goal, like weight loss.
So here's a HUGE SECRET FOR YOU... One or two bad meals a week WON'T kill your progress!
Eating a bad meal everyday on the other hand will effect your results significantly.
Your success is about what you do 80%, majority, of the time.
So one bad meal here and there, or a couple of drinks on the weekend (don't go overboard) will not effect your progress.
However, stressing about what you're eating will probably effect your results more than the actual food itself.
Stress raises cortisol levels in the body which makes your body hold onto fat, slows your metabolism down and makes you crave more fatty and sugary foods.
So if you overeat at a meal, eat a high carb meal, eat dessert or have a couple of drinks, don't stress about it! Instead, your mental health and metabolism will actually love you for it. Don't go overboard though.
You're results do care about what you're doing for every other meal of the week, so make every other meal count (meal prep it!). I'm about helping people create a happy and free lifestyle, so if you can't lose weight and enjoy your lifestyle at the same time, it's the wrong meal plan for you!
