"That's a no for me dawg" And just a quick as it came, the prospect of running is gone with a flash.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ We are here to put you back on the path to fitness and give you all the reasons why running sprint interval is going to give you the body you are looking for this summer.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Reasons for Running some intervals:⁠⠀ 1: Sprint intervals is an anaerobic exercise and that means it will quickly use those extra carbs (see cookies) as a fuel source...⁠⠀ 2. Sprint Intervals Increase our Latic Acid Threshold. This will increase our abilities to sustain High Intensity Workouts for longer. This means better performance in our classes.⁠⠀ 3. Increased rate of muscle adaptations. This means we will build more muscle and that means greater calorie burn and fat loss throughout the day.⁠⠀ 4. Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC). This is a fancy name for lactic acid burn and fat loss. When we sprint, we put ourselves into an oxygen deficit state and thus we feel the "burn" of the lactic acid. To restore our body back to normal, this take lots of calories, that means fat stores. Hoy es el día 6, y toca una foto de gym, extraída de mis recuerdos y memorias... - Fíjense que los recuerdos que tengo de esta foto son curiosos, en este punto exacto, hace un año, sentía que iba haciendo grandes progresos en el gimnasio, me sentía saludable y fuerte, a gusto con mi cuerpo, muy cómodo en el gimnasio y capaz de hacer muchas más cosas. Pero por alguna razón a mediados del año pasado empecé a bajar el ritmo y empecé a flojearle más, y es algo de lo que SÍ me arrepiento; empecé a levantarme más tarde, empecé a alimentarme peor y en general deje muchos buenos hábitos... SUPPLEMENTS? 🧐 There are sooo many different supplements out there, it’s difficult to know what is right for you, what they all do and what the complicated words mean! I was kindly gifted the above supplements by @mz_store_com and their labels are so detailed and explain what the compounds of the supplements are and what they do. I also did some research of my own to further my knowledge - I always think it’s important to know what’s in a supplement before you take it to make sure you’re confident with what you’re feeding your body. ✨ Pre-workout is the most common supplement and generally contains caffeine to boost performance and maximises energy and endurance. Beta-alanine is the compound which can sometimes make you feel tingly if you take too much - this helps to delay fatigue, reduce covert time and improves performance. ✨ Glutamine is an amino acid that acts as a building block for protein and stopping muscle breakdown. It’s also a critical part of your immune system. Taking glutamine supplements can optimise protein metabolism and help with muscle recovery. This doesn’t have to be taken as part of a workout but is suggested 1-2 times a day between meals. ✨ Citrulline is generally used for accelerated recovery time, improving exercise performance, aiding muscle growth. The compounds as also important for cardiovascular health. It can be used as an alternative to pre workout and also helps with endurance training and reduces muscle soreness. . Hope this is useful for some people as I know it’s time consuming to read up on lots of difficult science stuff before you choose a supplement!
